You get up to about 3,500 EUR (up to £3,000) per year. You also get on-campus support services to help you train and compete while you study. This is the top tier of the sport scholarship programme at Brunel University London (Uxbridge, UK). It goes to a small group of the university's best elite athletes and is awarded once a year.

How realistic are your chances?

This is the highest tier of Brunel's sport scholarship, so it goes to only a handful of the strongest athletes each year. The bar is high. If you compete at the top of your discipline, can prove it with real results and study at Brunel, you fit the exact profile this award targets. If you are below that elite level, a lower tier of the programme is the more realistic route.
