Pro Nutritio et Dieta scholarship

You will receive a grant to help fund a training course, a study or conference trip, or a research project in the field of nutrition. The Executive Board determines the amount of the grant each year and does not publish this in advance, meaning it varies from funding round to funding round. You must use the funds in the year in which they were awarded. For the current funding round, this is 2027. The grant is awarded by the Ravitsemusterapeuttien yhdistys ry (RTY), the Association of Clinical and Public Nutritionists in Finland. The RTY is a professional association founded in 1970 with around 700 members. Costs relating to publications are not covered.

Who can apply

• Membership: You must be a full member or a personal supporting member of RTY. Non-members are not eligible to apply.
• Field: Your plan must be in nutrition science, for example further or postgraduate training, a study or congress trip, or a research project.
• Timing: The grant must be taken up in the year in which it is awarded, and it cannot be awarded for two consecutive years.
• Priority: If there are a large number of applicants, preference will be given to those who have not received any funding in the last five years.

How to apply

Please complete the official application form in the members’ area of the RTY website and submit it by email. The deadline for applications is 30 November. The scholarship is advertised once a year, and members will be notified by email.
