About this scholarship
Erkki Hannikainen Fund scholarship (University of Helsinki)
You will receive a one-off grant of up to 29,000 EUR grant to continue your studies of the French language in France. The amount is paid as a one-off sum, not monthly, and you must spend it within three years of it being awarded. The funds come from the 1984 bequest by Erkki Hannikainen. This is one of the earmarked funds managed by the University of Helsinki’s endowment funds, which together award around 400,000 EUR in scholarships and grants each year.
