Finnish Osprey Foundation - Scholarship

Finnish Osprey Foundation grant

You get a grant of up to 2,600 EUR for work on birds of prey in Finland. Each year the foundation shares a pool of about 3,000 to 4,000 EUR among several recipients, so a single grant is typically a few hundred to a couple of thousand euros. The money supports field work, monitoring and research on ospreys and other birds of prey. It can also fund a thesis, a publication or art about ospreys. The grant comes from the Finnish Osprey Foundation (Sääksisäätiö), a non-profit founded in 1990 that protects and studies Finland's birds of prey.
