Hilda Kauhanen Memorial Fund scholarship

You get a grant to fund medical research, development work or related investments. There is no fixed amount or funding period. The fund's board decides the sum based on what you plan to do. The money comes from the Hilda Kauhanen Memorial Fund (Hilda Kauhasen Muistorahasto), a Finnish foundation in Pori set up in 2001 to support medical research.

Who can apply

• What you do: You carry out research, development work or an investment in medicine.
• Who you are: Individuals (such as researchers and students) and organisations can both apply.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Regional link: A connection to the Satakunta region in western Finland is a plus, but not required.

How to apply

There is no application form. You write your own letter explaining your plan and what you will use the grant for.
