General Description
The Open Society Foundations manage the Global Supplementary Grant Program. These grants are intended to support PhD studies at a recognized university and are tenable for one year. However, it is possible to reapply for two times after the initial grant. The amounts granted vary between £2,000 and £10,000.Requirements
Supported countries are: Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia, Bhutan, Egypt, Georgia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Nepal, Palestine, Russia, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, Tunisia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
It is also required that the applicant has received financial support from a third party before applying to this grant.
