About this scholarship

Teesside University London International Scholarship

You will receive a discount of fee waiver of about 2,900 EUR (£2,500) on your tuition fees, which is granted as a one-off reduction. For a Bachelor’s degree programme, this amount will be deducted from the fees for your first full academic year. For a one- or two-year on-campus Master’s programme, the amount will be deducted from your total tuition fees. Teesside University London is offering this funding for the academic year 2026–27, and there is no limit on the number of places available. There is no monthly cash payment; the support takes the form of a discount on tuition fees only.

Who can apply

  • Where you study: You are studying at Teesside University’s London campus. The Middlesbrough and Darlington campuses, online programmes and programmes outside the UK are not taken into account.
  • Degree level: You are a first-year student on a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme. Doctoral and PhD programmes are excluded from this.
  • Enrolment: You study full time.
  • Fee status: You will be required to pay international tuition fees. Students from the EU are not eligible to apply.
  • Field of study: Open to all subjects.
  • Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, with the exception of students from the EU.
  • Other scholarships: This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship offered by Teesside University.

How to apply

There is no separate application process. If you enrol at the London campus and meet the criteria, you will automatically receive the scholarship, which will be noted in your offer letter. A scholarship committee decides on the awards, taking into account, amongst other things, your financial situation, your previous grades and, in some cases, an interview.

How realistic are your chances?

There is no limit to the number of scholarships available, and they are awarded automatically, meaning that any international fee-paying student who enrols at the London campus and meets the criteria should receive the scholarship. This is one of the easier scholarships to obtain. The main exclusion criterion is fee status: EU students and PhD students are not eligible. If you are a full-time international student in your first year of study in London, your chances are very good.
