First Class Honours Bursary

At the University of Greenwich in London, you’ll receive a 10% discount on your postgraduate tuition fees. This is awarded to graduates who have achieved the highest possible grade in their first degree; it therefore reduces your tuition fees rather than paying you a monthly allowance. You cannot combine it with the Greenwich Postgraduate Scholarship.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are starting a postgraduate course at the University of Greenwich.
• Your first degree: You have completed your bachelor’s degree at the University of Greenwich or one of its partner universities with ‘First Class Honours’, the highest grade for a bachelor’s degree in the United Kingdom.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• Field of study: Any topic is fine.

How realistic are your chances?

This scholarship is subject to strict criteria: you must have graduated with a ‘First Class’ degree from the University of Greenwich or a partner institution and must be undertaking postgraduate study there. If you meet these criteria, the process of being awarded the scholarship is straightforward. It is recognition of the grade you have already achieved and does not involve a selection process.
