About this scholarship

Türkiye Scholarships

You will receive a full scholarship from the Turkish government to study at a university in Turkey free of charge. It covers your full tuition fees, a monthly stipend (a fixed monthly living allowance), accommodation, health insurance and a return flight (paid for on your arrival and again upon graduation). The amount of the monthly stipend depends on your level of study: approximately 4,500 TL for an associate or bachelor’s degree, 6,500 TL for a Master’s degree and 9,000 TL for a PhD (approximately 100 EUR and above; this is adjusted regularly). You will also receive a free one-year Turkish language course, provided you do not already hold a C1 certificate. High-achieving students may qualify for the ‘Merit’ programme, which pays double the standard scholarship amount. The scholarship is administered by the state agency YTB and covers associate, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in almost all disciplines.
