You will receive a total of about EUR 2,320 (£2,000), which will be paid in two instalments: half in the second year of your degree and the other half in the third year. The scholarship is awarded by the University of Northampton in the United Kingdom and is open to first-year students studying Accounting and Finance.

Who can apply

  • Degree: You are in the first year of your Bachelor’s degree.
  • Subject: You are studying ‘Accounting and Finance’ (BSc (Hons)) or ‘Finance’ (BSc (Hons)).
  • University: You’re studying at the University of Northampton.
  • Enrolment: You study full time.
  • Local link: You were born in Northamptonshire or are living there at the time of your application.
  • Timing: You have left full-time education within the last two years.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted via the university’s online scholarship form. The application deadline is 19 October 2026. A selection panel will shortlist applicants on the basis of the documents submitted; its decision is final.

How realistic are your chances?

The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are very strict. You must be enrolled on one of two specific finance degree programmes in Northampton, be able to prove that you were born or live in Northamptonshire, and have completed your secondary education within the last two years. Only around one scholarship is awarded each year. If you clearly meet all these criteria, the pool of eligible candidates is small, but you should expect fierce competition for the single place.
