ESADE Master's Degree in Law Excellence Award

You will receive a tuition fee discount of 20% to 50% on the fees for the official Master’s programme in Law at ESADE Law School in Barcelona (the ‘Master Universitario en Abogacia y Procura + Master de Especialización’, or MUAP for short). The exact percentage depends on your grades, your CV, your language skills and your result in the entrance exam. The discount applies to the single academic year in which you study. It is awarded by ESADE Law School, which is part of Ramon Llull University in Spain. You may apply for several ESADE scholarships at the same time; however, these cannot be combined: should you be awarded more than one scholarship, you will only retain the one with the highest value.

Who can apply

• Programme: You have been admitted to the MUAP Master’s programme in Law at ESADE.
• Grades: You achieved a grade point average of at least 8.0 out of 10 in your law degree (Grado en Derecho) or, if you completed a dual degree, of at least 7.5 out of 10.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
• How much you get: The amount of your discount depends on your school report, your CV, your language skills and the result of your entrance exam. You do not need to provide evidence of financial need.

How to apply

First, submit your complete application via the ESADE admissions portal. Within the same portal, go to the ‘Premios a la Excelencia’ section and apply for the award there. Once you have been admitted, a committee will review the applications and notify you of the result by email.

How realistic are your chances?

This scholarship is linked to a specific Master’s programme and requires a grade point average of at least 8.0 (or 7.5 for a double degree), meaning that only high-achieving, admitted students are eligible. Awards are made solely on the basis of academic merit, without a placement test, and the amount of the reduction depends on the quality of your grades, your CV, your language skills and your test results. If you significantly exceed the grade threshold and have a strong profile, your chances of receiving a substantial discount are good.
