Fulbright Kommission - Doktorandenprogramm

General Description

The German-American Fulbright-Program awards doctoral students with scholarships in order to enable them to conduct a research related to the topic of their dissertation thesis at one of the American Universities. After finishing their research, the awarded students are expected to return to their home institutions and finish their dissertation thesis there. For this purpose, a monthly grant of € 1,600 is awarded. In addition to that, the transatlantic travel costs are covered. The scholarship is given for a period of 6 to 9 months.

Requirements

The award is intended for doctoral students of all fields of study. At the time of application submission, students should be at the beginning of their doctoral studies. From your application it should be clear that your research needs to be done at one of the American Universities.
