General Description
The P. F. Fitzpatrick Prize in Epidemiology and Public Health Medicine was established to honor P.F. Fitzpatrick and his outstanding contribution to the control of tuberculosis. The current prize is valued at €400. It is intended for students who obtain first place in the BH3003 Person, Culture and Society III module at the Summer Third University Examination in Medicine.
Requirements
A student must have been a a registered student at the University College Cork for the two years prior to the examination. The student must already have passed the Third University Examination in Medicine the first time taken.
