General Description
Founder of this prize is the trade association of the metal industry of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, the technical-scientific association ASMET and the German Society for Metallurgy. The prize is awarded for outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of metallography. Such achievements and contributions can be seen in the development of new or further metallographic procedures and methods, solving metall-related problems, or in the training of the metallographic offspring. The Roland-Mitsche Prize is a cash prize in the amount of S 30000. For special occasions, this price can be awarded to two candidates, or to a work group (team).
Requirements
The award is granted to scientists and reseachers who have contributed valuable methods and solutions to problems in the sector of metallography.
