University College Cork - CORK CITY COUNCIL LORD MAYOR'S PERPETUAL TROPHY FOR ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

Benefit

You will receive a cash prize of 500 EUR, a certificate and your name engraved on a trophy, which will remain at the university. This is a one-off award, not a monthly scholarship. The funding is provided by the engineering and environmental consultancy firm Fehily Timoney and Company, and the trophy is provided by the Office of the Lord Mayor of Cork. The prize has been awarded since 2002 and is presented each year to one of the top final-year students at University College Cork (UCC).

Eligibility

• Where you study: You are enrolled at University College Cork in Ireland.
• Degree: You are in the final year of the BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science, a four-year honours undergraduate degree.
• Results: You achieved the highest overall mark in your Honours year. The prize may be shared between two or more students if the jury so decides.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, provided they are currently enrolled at UCC.

How to apply

No application is required. The Environmental Sciences Programme Committee will automatically select the winner based on your results, and the prize will be presented at the university’s annual awards ceremony.
