About this award / prize
The Reilly Prize
You receive a bowl and a cash prize, awarded once. The amount can vary a little from year to year because it is paid from an endowment and depends on investment returns. The prize comes from the School of Chemistry at University College Cork (UCC) in Ireland. The department's academic staff fund it in honour of the late Professor J. Reilly, who led chemistry at UCC from 1924 to 1959. It goes to the top final-year chemistry student once a year.
