National University Of Ireland - The NUI Club London Scholarship

Benefit

As the top graduate of a Bachelor’s degree programme at an institution of the National University of Ireland (NUI), you will receive a one-off prize of 2,000 EUR. This is a one-off payment and not a monthly scholarship. The NUI funds this award from funds bequeathed by the NUI Club London, a dining club for NUI graduates which closed in 2003. Each year, the NUI Senate selects a bachelor’s degree programme, and the award is presented to the top student in their final year of that programme. Subjects awarded to date include journalism, veterinary medicine, architecture, food science and music technology at universities such as UCC, UCD, the University of Galway and Maynooth.

Eligibility

• University: You are studying at an NUI institution, such as UCC, UCD, the University of Galway, Maynooth University, NCAD, the Institute of Public Administration or the Shannon College of Hotel Management.
• Study level: You are in the final year of your Bachelor’s degree.
• Field of study: You are on the degree programme selected for this year. The subject changes every year, so please check which one applies to you.
• Grades: You are the best student on this course.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

You do not need to apply or nominate yourself. If you are enrolled on the degree programme selected for that year, you will automatically be considered. The prize is awarded to the best student in their final year.
