About this scholarship
UCD Cothrom na Féinne Scholarship
You get 2,500 EUR to 7,000 EUR per year for the standard length of your undergraduate degree, paid in two instalments each year. The amount depends on your subject. The base award is 2,500 EUR per year. Subject-specific awards go higher, for example 4,000 EUR in Engineering, 5,000 EUR in Medicine and up to 7,000 EUR in Law, Computer Science or the Arts. You also join a support package: a welcome programme, academic workshops and seminars, one-to-one guidance from an expert team, a peer-mentoring network (fellow students who advise you) and leadership and networking training. This is Ireland's largest access scholarship. It is run by University College Dublin's Access and Lifelong Learning office with support from the UCD Foundation.
