About this award / prize

Merit prize for Law students at Tor Vergata

In recognition of your outstanding academic achievements in your law degree, you will receive a one-off cash prize of 500 EUR. The University of Rome Tor Vergata (Università degli Studi di Roma Tor Vergata) awards these prizes to its best students, organised by faculty. As this is a reward for your academic performance, it is a one-off payment and not a monthly allowance.

Who can apply

  • University: You’re studying at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
  • Field of study: You are enrolled on the Law (Giurisprudenza) degree programme.
  • Grades: Judging by your academic performance, you are one of the best students in the department.
  • Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
  • Financial need: Not required. This prize is based only on your grades.

How realistic are your chances?

The prize is awarded to a department at a university and is presented to the best law students. The pool of applicants is small, but the standards are high. If your marks place you amongst the top students in your year group, your chances are good, as selection is not based on an open competition but solely on a ranking list based on marks.
