ESU Molise - Degree prize

ESU Molise degree prize

In addition to your regular ESU Molise study grant, you will receive a one-off bonus of once, which will be paid out upon successful completion of your studies within the prescribed time limit. The bonus is equivalent to half of the grant you received in your final year; its amount therefore depends on the level of the grant in your final year of study. In practice, this amounts to approximately 210 EUR. ESU Molise is the regional student grant authority for the Molise region in southern Italy. The bonus rewards students who complete their degree within the standard duration of study. Payment depends on the funds available to ESU Molise.

Who can apply

• You already hold an ESU Molise grant: You must have been awarded a standard ESU-Molise scholarship. This prize is intended as a supplement and is not an award in its own right.
• Where you study: You are studying at a university in Molise, either at the University of Molise (UNIMOL) in Campobasso or at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
• Finish on time: You complete your bachelor's, single-cycle master's or specialist degree within the official time limit for your programme. With a recognised disability, you still qualify with one extra year.
• Field of study: All subjects qualify.
• Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are eligible to apply, provided they are studying in Molise and are scholarship holders.

How to apply

You do not need to apply for the prize separately. You apply for the standard scholarship online via the ESU-Molise platform using SPID or CIE (Italy’s digital ID). Once you have been awarded this scholarship and complete your studies within the specified timeframe, the prize will be awarded to you automatically, provided that funds are available.

How realistic are your chances?

This bonus is very narrowly defined: you must already have been awarded an ESU Molise scholarship, be studying at a university in Molise, and complete your degree on time. Consequently, only a small group of students are eligible. If you meet these conditions, the main risk is that payment depends on the funds available rather than on competition. Completing your degree on time is the only factor that is entirely within your control.
