Prize for the best thesis on Ceglie Messapica

The author of the best final-year dissertation (tesi di laurea) on the old town of Ceglie Messapica in Apulia will receive a one-off cash prize of 1,000 EUR. The prize is awarded once a year by the ‘Associazione Amici del Borgo Antico’, a cultural association dedicated to promoting the art, history and traditions of the old town.

• Field of study: Any topic is permitted.
• Topic: Your dissertation focuses on Ceglie Messapica, its old town, culture, art or traditions.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.

How realistic are your chances?

This prize has very strict criteria. Your dissertation must focus on a small town in Apulia, which means that very few students are eligible and the pool of applicants is small. If your dissertation does indeed focus on Ceglie Messapica and you are studying at an Italian university, your chances are good. As only one prize is awarded each year, the quality of your work will determine your success.
