About this grant / loan
What you get
You will receive a grant of 83 EUR per year if you are studying at a higher education institution in the Italian region of Basilicata and have a disability, a specific learning difficulty or special educational needs. You will also receive one free meal a day in the canteens run by ARDSU Basilicata, the regional authority that funds the right to higher education in the region. You cannot combine this grant with other ARDSU benefits during the same academic year.
Who can apply
- Where you study: You are enrolled at a university or a college of art, music or dance (AFAM) in the Basilicata region.
- Your situation: You have a certified disability, a specific learning difficulty (DSA, e.g. dyslexia) or recognised special educational needs (BES).
- Field of study: All subjects are open.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted online via the ARDSU Basilicata Student Services portal. Please register first and then submit your application. The deadline for applications for the academic year 2025/2026 is 27 March.
How realistic are your chances?
This scholarship is very specific. You must be studying in a particular region of Italy and have a certified disability, a learning difficulty or special educational needs. As a result, the group of eligible applicants is small, meaning that only a few people are competing for the scholarship. If you meet these criteria and can provide evidence of them, your chances are good. Register on the portal as early as possible and submit your application well in advance of the deadline.
