About this scholarship

Student collaboration grant (150-hour programme)

You will earn money by working up to 150 hours per academic year within the internal services of the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples; payment is on an hourly basis. The hourly rate is revised each year when the position is advertised. The role involves practical support tasks across the Academy. It does not include teaching, invigilation during examinations or administrative duties. The Academy provides accident insurance cover for you during working hours. This is not a regular post, and the work does not count towards eligibility for civil service recruitment procedures.

Who can apply

  • University: You are enrolled on a first- or second-cycle degree programme (such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples for the current academic year.
  • Study year: You are past your first year and no further than your fifth year.
  • Credits: You have achieved the minimum number of credit points (CFU) required for your year of study, for example 48 CFU by the end of the second year or 72 CFU by the end of the third year of a Bachelor’s degree programme.
  • Grades: Your average mark across all exams you have sat is at least 27 out of 30.
  • No double funding: You are not currently receiving an A.DI.S.U. scholarship or a similar benefit.
  • Clean record: There are no disciplinary measures or ongoing proceedings against you.
  • Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, provided they are studying at the Academy in Naples.

How to apply

Please submit the application form to the Student Registration Office by the deadline. Please enclose your ISEE income statement, a copy of your identity document and a copy of your student record book. The deadline stated in the call for applications is 11 February. Selection is based on your grade point average (up to 4 marks) and an oral interview before a panel chaired by the Director (up to 20 marks). In the event of a tie, the decision will be based on income (ISEE).

How realistic are your chances?

This option is only available to students who are already enrolled at a specific academy and who also have a grade point average of at least 27/30; the group of eligible applicants is therefore small. With around 20 places available in the reference year, a strong applicant who clearly meets the requirements for credit points and grades has good prospects. The oral interview accounts for the largest proportion of the total marks, so preparing for it is more important than anything on paper.
