Tuition reduction for Bocconi families

You get a 15% cut on your ordinary tuition and fees at Bocconi University in Milan. It is applied to your 2nd instalment. The reduction renews for the whole standard length of your degree, with no grades requirement, as long as you still qualify. You can only hold one Bocconi benefit per year. So if you also qualify for a bigger waiver, that one is assigned instead. The 15% reduction cannot be combined with other Bocconi discounts, except the "Fees relief target application".

Who can apply

• University: You are enrolled on a bachelor’s degree programme at Bocconi University.
• Family link: Either your brother, sister or spouse is enrolled at Bocconi in the same academic year, or you are the child or financial dependent of a Bocconi or Egea employee (permanent non-teaching staff, tenured faculty, tenure-track faculty or lecturers).
• Field of study: Open to all subjects.
• Nationality: All nationalities can apply.
• No merit test: This discount is not based on your grades or your family’s income.
• One student only: In the case of siblings or spouses, the following applies: if one of them is already fully or partially exempt from tuition fees, the other cannot claim the 15% as well.

How to apply

You must apply via Bocconi University’s ‘MyApplication’ online portal within the specified period, which ends on 4 December. You must complete the online form, upload the signed application form and your identity card, and then submit the documents. If you have already received this grant in a previous year, you do not need to submit a new application.

How realistic are your chances?

This is not a competitive scholarship, but rather an entitlement. If either of the two family circumstances applies to you and you are enrolled at Bocconi, you are entitled to the reduction without being compared to other applicants. You simply need to meet the deadline and check whether a higher discount, to which you are also entitled, would take precedence. If you apply within the specified timeframe, your chances are good.
