About this scholarship

Scholarships for International Mobility (A.Di.S.U. Umbria)

During your studies, you will receive 750 EUR for each month you spend abroad. If your university is already paying you a mobility grant, such as an Erasmus grant, this amount will be deducted from the 750 EUR. The money is paid out by A.Di.S.U. Umbria, the public body responsible for student financial support in the Italian region of Umbria, and supplements the regular study grant that you already receive.

Who can apply

  • Existing grant: You are already receiving a standard A.Di.S.U. grant (Borsa di studio).
  • Where you go: You are spending time abroad studying or on a work placement, either as part of an EU programme such as Erasmus or a non-European programme.
  • Academic credit: Your period of study abroad will count towards your degree in the form of credit points (ECTS).
  • Field of study: Open to all subjects.
  • Nationality: All nationalities can apply.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted online via the A.Di.S.U. student portal. The application deadline is set each year in the annual call for applications (Bando di Concorso). The most recent application rounds closed on approximately 2 September. There is no interview. Applicants are ranked, and those who meet the eligibility criteria are included on the list of scholarship recipients.

How realistic are your chances?

This supplementary scholarship is aimed at a small target group. You must already have been awarded an A.Di.S.U. scholarship and be undertaking an eligible period of study abroad; consequently, only a small group of Umbria students are eligible. If you meet both conditions, your chances are good. Selection is based on a ranking list rather than a competition for a limited number of places; the key factor is therefore that you meet the criteria.
