About this scholarship
What you get
You will receive a one-off payment of 2,000 EUR for one academic year. This is a reward for good grades; it is a one-off payment and is not paid out monthly. IULM University in Milan provides 100,000 EUR for 2025/2026 and awards 50 of these scholarships across all degree programmes. The 2,000 EUR is a gross amount and is considered taxable income, meaning that income tax will be deducted.

- Level: You are enrolled on a Bachelor’s (laurea triennale) or Master’s (laurea magistrale) degree programme.

First-year Bachelor’s students must have a final grade of 100/100 or higher. Students in their first year of a Master’s programme must have a Bachelor’s degree grade of at least 110/110.
- Credits: You have earned enough credit points (ECTS) for your academic year; for example, at least 12 ECTS by the time of the first examination period in your first year of study.
- No double funding: You must not be receiving any other regional or similar scholarship in the same year, nor must you have a full or partial exemption from fees.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted online via the IULM student portal by 18 July. The ranking is determined automatically based on your credit points and your grade point average; there is therefore no separate selection process. In the event of a tie, preference will be given to the applicant with the lower household income (ISEE).
How realistic are your chances?
Only IULM students from certain subject areas and year groups may apply, and the ranking list is broken down by degree programme, so you will be competing within your own degree programme rather than against the whole university. Selection is based solely on credit points and grades. If you are significantly ahead of your fellow students on your degree programme, your chances are good. With 50 funded places available, a suitable student with a high grade point average has a real chance.
