ADSU Chieti e Pescara - agreement special rate for access to canteens

Discounted canteen meals at the University of Chieti-Pescara

In the university canteens, you can eat for reduced price per meal, both at lunchtime and in the evening. There are two student rates: 2.00 EUR per meal, if you meet the income and grade requirements, or 3.30 EUR per meal for everyone else. The discount is provided by ADSU Chieti e Pescara, the regional body for the right to education. It applies in the canteens in Chieti (Via Pescara) and Pescara (Viale G. Marconi), as well as in some partner restaurants reserved for specific student groups. You can also order takeaway meals.

Who can apply

• University: You are enrolled on a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme at the ‘G. d’Annunzio’ University in Chieti-Pescara.
• Field of study: Open to all disciplines.
• Nationality: Open to all students, both from Italy and from abroad.
• Income and grades (for the 2.00 EUR rate): You have a valid ISEE that falls within the income limits and you meet the academic requirements. The ISEE is the official Italian measure of your family’s income and assets. Without a valid ISEE, or if you exceed the income limit, you will pay the higher rate of 3.30 EUR.

How to apply

You must register once per academic year via the ADSU online portal using your digital ID (SPID or CIE) in the Student Register (Anagrafe Studenti). Complete the ISEE section to qualify for the reduced rate. If you have already applied for an ADSU grant, you do not need to register again. After registering, download the ADSUCh.EAT app, top up your e-wallet (minimum 10 EUR) and show your QR code at the canteen till.

How realistic are your chances?

This is not an award granted as part of a competition, but a permanent discount: every student enrolled at the University of Chieti-Pescara is entitled to the reduced rate. Only the amount you are required to pay varies, and this depends on your ISEE score and your grades, not on a selection process. Enrol for the academic year and submit valid proof of your ISEE to secure the rate of 2.00 EUR.
