About this scholarship
General Description
The Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme was funded by the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) initiative aimed at making postgraduate study and the professions more accessible to disadvantaged and underrepresented groups. 50 scholarships of between £10,000 and £15,000 are awarded annually. The scholarship is paid as a cash award.Requirements
Candidates should be self-funding students from the UK/EU assessed as a Home student for fees purposes. Candidates should have received an offer on a taught Master’s programme at the University of Manchester. Candidates need to have either received a UK government grant for their undergraduate studies, or to have been local authority care for at least 13 weeks and be under 25 on the course start date.Similar scholarships
