About this scholarship
What the Calmette & Yersin Internship Grant gives you
You get 1,200 EUR per month for your day-to-day costs during an internship, such as accommodation, food and local transport. Funding runs for up to 3 months, or up to 6 months if you are a Master's student. The grant comes from the Institut Pasteur and supports an internship at one of the institutes in the Pasteur Network, a group of over 30 research institutes across 25 countries. Travel to the internship location is not covered.
Who can apply
- Who you are: You are a student, technician, engineer or researcher.
- Your institute: You belong to an institute that is part of the Pasteur Network.
- Where you go: You do your internship at an institute within the Pasteur Network.
- Field of study: You work in one of the network's research areas.
- Nationality: Any nationality can apply, as long as you belong to a Pasteur Network institute.
How to apply
You apply online through the Pasteur Network application portal. In 2026, decisions are taken on 5 March, 19 June, 17 September and 10 December, so submit your documents before the round you are aiming for. If your internship is at the Institut Pasteur in Paris, you can apply at any time during the year.
How realistic are your chances?
This grant is narrow: you must already belong to a Pasteur Network institute and do your internship inside that same network. That keeps the pool of eligible applicants small. If you clearly fit those conditions and apply in time for one of the selection dates, your prospects are solid. A Paris placement is more flexible, since it runs year-round.
