About this scholarship
General Description
Horse Racing Ireland and the National University of Ireland Maynooth offers four Michael Osborne Equine Business Scholarships each year. They last for three years of undergraduate study. It is for students taking the Equine Business degree programme MH405 at NUI Maynooth. The objective of the scholarship is to promote Irish and international horse racing.
Requirements
Applicants from disadvantaged financial backgrounds are given priority. Mature student applicants and prospective students to NUI Maynooth are also considered. In addition, applicants who are part of the Further Education and Training Awards Council programme are eligible to apply. To continue on the programme students must advance in their academic studies.
