General Description
The Austrian Ministry of Education, Culture and the Arts (BMUKK) together with CILT, the National Centre for Languages (UK) offer the Teaching and Learning in England - ITT (Initial Teacher Training) Programm for students interested in undertaking a language assistantship in the United Kingdom. A monthly amount of about 1000 euro will be provided for 24 months; this scholarship can be renewed.Requirements
This scholarship is open to graduates of Teacher Training at Austrian universities. Applicants must have achieved a grade lower than 4 in the mathematical part of their university entrance examination. An excellent level of proficiency in English is required; additional knowledge of French will be desirable. Previous experience of at least three weeks in a British secondary school will be of advantage. Applicants must be native speakers of the German language.Similar scholarships
