General Description
The Janacek Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno, Czech Republic supports its students who achieve extremely high levels of academic achievement through its Distinction scholarship. The amount of the award is set by the dean, and will not amount to any more than 80% of the standard set by the university. Stipends are paid on a monthly basis over the course of a year.
Requirements
Recipients of these scholarships must be currently enrolled in the Janacek Academy for the entirety of the year. Successful candidates must have accumulated at least 60 university credits. Additionally, in order to qualify for the scholarship, students must have achieved a specific grade-point average for their previous year. The grade-point average varies and is set by the dean of the university for each individual year.
