Hallam Special Achievement Award
You will receive a one-off payment of about 1,150 EUR (1,000 GBP) from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. This recognises outstanding achievement or commitment to others. Sheffield Hallam University has awarded several of these honours to students who have transferred to the university from Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) in Malaysia.

- Previous college: You studied at Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC) in Malaysia.
- Where you study now: You are enrolled on a ‘top-up’ degree programme at Sheffield Hallam University in the UK. A ‘top-up’ degree programme enables you to obtain a bachelor’s degree by extending your existing course by one final year of study.
- Fees: You have already paid all your tuition fees.
- Achievement: You can highlight an outstanding achievement or a special contribution to others, such as voluntary work, leadership qualities or overcoming serious difficulties.
How to apply
Please submit the application form by email. Please include a written statement of up to 500 words detailing your achievements or commitment, as well as supporting documents such as certificates or letters of reference. The application deadline was 30 June.
