The Philosophy Essay Prize is an award which is awarded by The Royal Institute of Philosophy and Cambridge University Press. The winning paper gets published in the journal Philosophy. The winning author also receives 2,500 Pound Sterling as prize money. The topic papers are to be on is: ‘What is philosophy? How is it possible? What can it expect to achieve?’ When Judging the papers, priority will be given to originality, clarity of expression, breadth of interest, and potential for advancing discussion.
