General Description
Mr. John McCarthy has offered a prize in memory of his father Mr. John Joseph McCarthy. The John Joseph McCarthy Prize in Civil and Environmental Engineering is an annual prize at University College Cork. It is a prize that is avaliable only to final year students of Civil and Environmental Engineering. These students also have to have contributed significantly to sport at UCC. The prize is valued at €750.
Requirements
This prize is only avaliable to Final Year Civil and Environmental Engineering students. The student must have achieved a degree in Civil Engineering. The student must have attained this level on first sitting of examinations. To be eligible a student must be able to demonstrate their contribution to sport at University College Cork. A winner will be chosen by Mr. John McCarthy or a nominee.
