General Description
Those attending a higher level institution whilst parenting a child may opt for the Childcare Grant. This system is in place to help parents to overcome the financial strains that funding education while still tending to other costs related to the child may bring.
Requirements
Available to parents partaking in a degree program, the Childcare Grant takes away up to 85% of the childcare costs from the parents. It’s important to note that this amount is capped at £148.75 per week. However, in the case that the recipient has more than one child, a maximum of £255 can be acquired.
