About this grant / loan
Virtus Bursary at UCL
You get about 6,760 EUR per year (£5,781.25) to help cover your living costs while you study for a Modern Languages degree at University College London (UCL). The money can run for up to four years, the full length of a Modern Languages course. This is a bursary, meaning money given because of financial need rather than for grades. It is funded by UCL's Scholarships and Funding Office.
Who can apply
- University and course: You have an offer to study, or already study, a full-time Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages at UCL.
- Subject: Students of German or Scandinavian Studies are preferred, but other Modern Languages students can still apply.
- Financial need: You can show that you cannot fully fund your studies. You explain your situation on the application form.
- Nationality: You are from the United Kingdom.
How to apply
Send a written application to UCL and explain your financial situation on the form.
