General Description
If you are a student or prospective student of the University of Bolton and you are facing financial hardships in pursuit of higher education, you can get funding through the Access to Learning Fund. This is funded by the government. This is especially for students who find that they are facing higher than expected costs than was initially anticipated. The fund exists to help you cover the costs of books, equipment, travel, childcare and living expenses. Priority will be given to students who are single parents. Mature students with proven financial commitments, those from low income households, disabled students and those in their final year are also prioritized. In addition, if you are an entrant to Higher Education from Foyers or a care institution you will be given priority status.
Requirements
You must be a home student studying full-time or part-time. You must be registered in an undergraduate programme at the minimum. You must also have taken your full entitlement of student loan.
