General Description
The Hosei-University Tokyo has established the Hosei International Fund to advance international cooperation in academic research. The Hosei International Fund provides fellowships whose recipients can be awarded to 300000 yen (currently about 2300 euro) monthly for 6 to 12 months.
Requirements
Applicants must be enrolled in a doctoral degree programme (all disciplines are allowed except medical or veterinary sciences, pharmacology, nursing, agriculture, marine sciences, home economics and fine arts). A sufficient knowledge of either Japanese or English is required. Candidates must submit two complete copies of their most significant publication, as well as two letters of recommendation, degree certificates and language certificates adequately translated to either Japanese or English. Age limit is set at 39 years old.
