General Description
Students at Liverpool John Moores University can apply for a National Scholarship. Those from households with low incomes are given priority. The award covers £2,000 of the student’s tuition fes. There is also a £1,000 cash bursary.
Requirements
Applicants must be full-time, first year undergraduate students. There household income should be £16,000 a year or less. Students who study part-time are also eligible to apply but will receive their scholarship on a pro-rata basis. EU students are eligible too, but only for the fee waiver part of the scholarship. Students who have dependants, who are disabled, or who are care leavers, have priority. Students who are attending NHS-funded courses, who already have a degree, are not eligible. Students from Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are not eligible either.
