About this scholarship
What the scholarship covers
You will receive your tuition fees fully or partly covered for one of the University of Granada’s own continuing education courses, known as ‘Enseñanzas Propias’. These are offered by the University’s International Postgraduate School and include Master’s programmes in the field of continuing education, specialisation diplomas and expert diplomas. The scholarship will never exceed the tuition fees for your course. Each course allocates a portion of its budget to these scholarships (currently up to 13%), and these funds are distributed amongst eligible applicants based on their academic results.
Who can apply
- Enrolment: You are enrolled on one of the university’s own ‘Enseñanzas Propias’ degree programmes at the International Postgraduate School in Granada.
- Level: You are currently a student or a graduate and are taking part in one of these further education programmes.
- Field of study: Any subject area is eligible, including the arts and humanities, health sciences, social sciences and law, as well as the natural sciences and engineering.
- Nationality: Applicants of all nationalities are welcome to apply, even if they live outside Spain.
- Financial need: Your household income and assets must remain below specified upper limits. As a guideline, a one-person household may earn less than approximately 14,100 EUR per year, and a four-person household less than approximately 38,800 EUR. The upper limit increases with the size of the household.
- Grades: Your average marks determine how the money is divided up; so better results improve your chances.
How to apply
Applications must be submitted online via the University’s electronic administration portal using a digital certificate, Cl@ve or a UGR account. If you live outside Spain, you must also submit certified translations of your proof of income and assets. The deadline is 10 working days after the call for applications is published in the Official Gazette; please therefore check the faculty noticeboards for each round.
How realistic are your chances?
This is a targeted scholarship. You must already be enrolled on a specific degree programme in Granada and meet the income thresholds, meaning that only a small number of applicants will be competing for the scholarship fund allocated to that particular programme. If you meet the income requirements and have good grades, your chances are good, as scholarships are awarded to qualified applicants on the basis of academic merit. Apply as soon as the call for applications opens, as the application window is only 10 working days.
