About this scholarship
General Description
The Leonora Lindsley Memorial Fellowship is made available by the Institute of International Education, to help French students studying in the US. The award amount is subject to variation, but usually $10000 - $12000 will be provided to 1 - 2 graduate students for a 12 month period. The grant may be extended to a second year.
Requirements
Candidates must be studying at a US university. They must either have participated in the French Resistance during WWII, or they must be the descendants of those who participated. Students must apply for admission to a US university by themselves, and they must be able to provide their own transportation.
