Professor Sigurd Tovborg Jensen's Scholarship

You get financial support (the amount is not stated) for a study trip or a period of study abroad. The trip must focus on soil environmental chemistry (the chemistry of soil and its pollutants) and/or soil environmental microbiology (the study of microbes living in soil). The scholarship comes from the Faculty of Science at the University of Copenhagen. It was set up in memory of Sigurd Tovborg Jensen, a Danish professor of soil chemistry.

Who can apply

• University: You are a current student or a graduate of the Faculty of Science at the University of Copenhagen.
• Field of study: You study natural sciences, or agriculture, food and veterinary sciences.
• What the trip is for: You use the money to study or train abroad in soil environmental chemistry and/or soil environmental microbiology.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply.

How to apply

You apply through an online form on the University of Copenhagen's intranet (KUnet). You can apply each year between 1 December and 1 February.
