General Description
As part of the US Department of Education’s Direct Loans programme, American students of the Art University Bournemouth can apply for loans.
Requirements
Loans are available to students with US citizenship, or eligible non-citizens, with a valid social security number.
Applicants must be already accepted on a full-time or part-time programme at AUB. Distance learning courses don’t count. They must be also living at the UK for duration of the course. Criminal record constraints apply: No outstanding convictions for drug-related offences. Those who exceeded federal loan limits or defaulted on repaying previous loans are not eligible.
Male students under the age of 26, are expected to have signed up for selective service or have been officially exempted.
