General Description
The Institute of Historical Research has 7 research fellowships available from 7 different funds. The fellowship is intended to finance the completion of a doctoral thesis in history. The tenure is generally for one year and may be renewable. The amount of the award depends on the source of funds and ranges from £10,000 (Scouloudi, Thornley) to £15,726 (Royal Historical Society).Requirements
Candidates should be doctoral students engaged who have completed at least 3 years of full time or 4 years of part time research in History. Eligibility requirement varies depending on the source of funds.
