The Blanke Foundation supports scientific research in American Studies of the Department of Applied Linguistics and Cultural Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. As part of the support activities of the Foundation, PhD dissertations can be financially supported. The scholarships of the Foundation consist of a single payment of 1.250,00 EUR.

PhD students of the Department of American Studies - Applied Linguistics and Cultural Studies at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz can apply for this scholarship. The dissertation should be in relation to the life's work of Professor Blanke. Applicants should have appropriate study and examination results. There are no further requirements.
