Regional scholarships at Iuav University of Venice

You get a yearly cash grant of roughly 1,700 to 5,800 EUR, plus a full waiver of your annual tuition fee. The exact amount depends on your family income and on whether you live at home or away from your university city. The money comes from the Veneto regional student-aid system and is paid through Iuav University in Venice, usually in instalments over the academic year.

Who can apply

• Where you study: You are enrolled at Iuav University of Venice, in any programme.
• Degree level: Bachelor, master, single-cycle master, PhD and specialisation-school students can apply, including those newly enrolling or transferring in.
• Financial need: Your family income (the Italian ISEE figure) is no higher than about 26,306 EUR, and your assets (the ISPE figure) stay under the regional limit.
• Grades: You must have earned a set number of study credits (CFU) for your year. First-year students need no credits when applying, but must reach at least 20 credits by 10 August of the following year to get the second instalment.
• Nationality: EU and non-EU students can apply. Non-EU applicants provide an equivalent income document (ISEE parificato) from their home country.
• No double funding: You do not already hold an equal or higher grant from another source.

How to apply

First get your ISEE income certificate through INPS or a CAF tax-assistance centre, and pay the first tuition instalment. Then submit your application through the university portal before the deadline in the annual call (bando, the official yearly announcement). There is no interview. Places are decided by a ranking based on income and grades, published online.

How realistic are your chances?

This is an entitlement-style grant, not a contest. If you study at Iuav, stay under the income limit and meet the credit requirement, you have a strong claim. Selection is a fixed formula with no interview, so your prospects depend almost entirely on the numbers. Apply as soon as the call opens and get your ISEE ready early, since a valid certificate is essential.
