Head of School Excellence Scholarship (möglicherweise)

Benefit

You get about 1,150 EUR per year of your degree (£1,000). It is a merit award you never repay, and it comes on top of your other funding. The money is from the School of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Leeds, which rewards students who start their bachelor's degree with top grades.

Eligibility

• Level: You are starting a bachelor's (undergraduate) degree.
• Subject: You study in the School of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Leeds.
• Grades: You reach at least A*AA at British A-level, or an equivalent qualification the School accepts when it admits you.
• Nationality: Any nationality can apply. No residence or citizenship rule applies.

How to apply

There is no form and no deadline. The award is automatic: if you meet the A*AA (or equivalent) grade requirement and enrol, you receive it.

How realistic are your chances?

The award goes automatically to anyone who hits the grade bar in this one School, so there is no competition. The only hurdle is achieving A*AA or an equivalent result. Note that this scholarship no longer appears on the School's current funding list, so it may no longer run. Check with the School before you count on it.
