About this scholarship

Set for Success Scholarship

You get one of two things: your full tuition fees for the first year paid, or a cash prize of about EUR 2,300 (£2,000) towards your undergraduate degree. The university awards one full-fee scholarship, plus £2,000 prizes for undergraduate degrees. It comes from the University of Law (ULaw), a private higher education provider in the United Kingdom. This award is purely merit-based, so your grades and test result decide it, not your income or background.

Who can apply

  • Where you study: You have an offer for an undergraduate degree at the University of Law in the UK. Apprenticeship and top-up programmes do not count.
  • Grades: You have at least AAB at A-Level, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Online test: You take a 30-minute online test of critical thinking and reasoning. You need no prior knowledge. You must score at least 10 to be considered, and the full-fee scholarship goes to the highest scorer.
  • Field of study: Any undergraduate subject the university offers.
  • Nationality: UK and international applicants can both apply.

How to apply

Once you have an offer, follow the scholarship link in your offer letter and fill in the online application, which includes the test. You do not need a separate application. For a September start, the 2026/27 round has closed. For a January 2027 start, the deadline is 15 November 2026, and winners are announced on 10 December 2026.

How realistic are your chances?

The full-fee scholarship is a single award for the highest scorer, so that one is very contested. The £2,000 prizes are more attainable: if you clear AAB and score 10 or more on the test, you are in the running. Strong reasoning skills and applying within the round window make the difference.
