About this grant / loan
General Description
The Government of the United States offers the Federal Direct Parent PLUS Loan to support students from the United States enrolled at higher education institutions in the US or overseas. Parents can borrow up to the total Estimated Cost of Attendance minus all other sources of financial aid their student receives.Requirements
These loans are open to students of all disciplines enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an eligible programme at an eligible institution. PLUS loans are the financial responsibility of the parents and not the student; therefore, borrowing parents will be subject to a credit check.
